Why ESA?
As a premier leadership and service organization, Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) offers our members the personal assistance and supportive programming needed to develop confidence and competence to go forth and impact the world in a positive way. Whether aspirations are career oriented, volunteer driven, or
socially motivated, ESA helps members achieve their goals. ESA is no ordinary organization. The level of service members give is immeasurable. The life-long friendships are unforgettable. With nearly 1,000 chapters, ESA has been able to raise more than $120 million in cash and pledges for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, as well as participate in local communities. ESA members take pride in all they accomplish. Minnesota ESA membership is approximately 150 members participating in 15 different chapters. Each year at our annual state Convention, Minnesota membership votes to support two philanthropic projects. We also support our International projects: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Easter Seals, and Hope for Heroes, supporting our military troops. Chapters may also choose to support other philanthropic endeavors as well. It’s not just about the service we give to others, we have fun, too. From Leadership Retreats to Mystery Night, to Comedy House plays, we celebrate the good works and good times together. We are always looking to expand ESA and have found many areas are just right to cultivate even more service opportunities and friendships by forming chapters of ESA. Men and women can join existing chapters or start a new chapter. One opportunity may be to make ESA available to your company and have a corporate organization. Opportunities are endless! The personal impact as well as the difference ESA makes in each community truly benefits its members. “ESA is a special organization. One where individuals can learn more and do more to make the world a better place,” states B.J. Clark, Executive Director. “It is thanks to the dedication of our members, and our leadership training programs that we have been so successful in our fundraising efforts. By bringing good people together to do good things, miracles are possible.” If you would like additional information about ESA, please complete the contact information.
