From Betty Marler: The ESA Hope for Heroes event on Wednesday, October 26 was a fun, successful project. ESA members, family and friends brought food items, personal care items and other goodies to mail to our troops. We colored, glued, and decorated Christmas cards to send to them as well. These gift boxes will soon be sent to several troops from Minnesota serving in Iraq and/or Afghanistan.
From Galen Eastlack: I wanted to let everyone know that during the Leadership Seminar Weekend, thanks to a large donation from Camp Courage, you bagged 254 pounds of soaps, shampoo and tooth paste! 100 pounds was brought to Mary's Place in Minneapolis. Plan to spread the remainder around to different food shelves, along with the food that was collected. The socks and underwear also went to Mary's Place. Nice work!
